February, Relationships and Hypnosis for Valentine’s Day?

February is the month when we probably think of love and romance more than usual because of Valentine’s Day.  Valentine’s Day can be a very wonderful day (and night) full of love,  romance, dinner, flowers, jewelry, candy and other tokens and gestures of love.  Valentine’s Day and the days leading up to it and  just after it can also  be a sad and lonely if you are not in a relationship or if you are not getting along with the one you are in a relationship with.

If you are single hearing  someone in a relationship discuss plans, gifts, what to wear on Valentine’s Day can make you sad and long for a relationship of your own.  Co-workers having flowers delivered to the office can make you feel slightly envious.  The day after Valentine’s Day can be torture too!  Friends and co-workers are showing off their gifts or talking about what they wore where they went and more.   Even though you hate to admit it, perhaps you feel a little envious or even a twinge of  jealousy.  You wonder why you don’t have a relationship.   Maybe you have even  experienced a break-up recently.   Perhaps you got divorced and this is your first Valentine’s Day alone in many years.  You feel lonely and insecure wondering if you are loveable and worthy enough to have a great relationship.  You wonder what is wrong with you.  Don’t I  look good enough?  You wonder if you are doing something wrong.  Do I come across as needy or even desperate?  You feel sad.

On the other hand, if you are in a relationship you may be wondering what you can do to improve your relationship.  You may want to spend more time with your partner.  Do you wish that your relationship was a little more romantic?  Or perhaps you would like to argue less.  Maybe you nag (admit it)  more than you mean to?   Deep inside (ok maybe not very deep at all) you would like to change something about your partner.   Am I too “clingy” and pushing away my partner?  Or perhaps you want to move on and don’t know how to best go about it.

Does this sound like you?  You can change this.  You can change how you feel.  You can change how you come across to others.  You can change how you communicate to others verbally and with your body language.  You can attract people to you.  You can take your present relationship to a new level.  You can let go if you need to.  HOW?

SELF-HYPNOSIS.  Self-hypnosis can help you feel more secure and confident.  You can build your self-esteem.  When your self-esteem is stronger you come across confident, radiating self-assurance.  More attractive!  Let’s face it confidence is attractive.  Needy and desperate usually push people away or even worse they attract the wrong type of people.  Using self-hypnosis you can get over your fears, whether it is fear commitment, fear of abandonment or even fears stemming from past relationships.  You can neutralize unwanted feelings such as anger, jealousy, perfectionism, and blame.  Learn to be more accepting, tolerant, and understanding.  You realize that you can not change other people, only yourself and your reactions to people and situations.  You gain perspective with self-hypnosis. You can let go of shyness and enjoy socializing, meeting, and attracting people.  With self-hypnosis you learn to make better decisions and choices about relationships and who you want to commit to.  If you need to move on you can let go and “cut the cord” and move on and to a more fulfilling relationship.

2017 Moving Forward and Getting Past Stuck

It’s a New Year and time to move forward. New Years Resolutions have been made. By now some of you may have already broken them.  There just seems to be something standing in the way of your success.  That something may well be yourself.

Many of the of the clients that have come to me wanted to move forward, and yet they just felt stuck. There is usually a reason in the persons subconscious mind that causes the lack of progress.  These reasons are often referred to as barriers or blocks.  Something deep inside them is standing in the way of what they want.  For some reason, often unknown to the client, something emotionally is standing in their way. This is true for many things from business, personal, athletic, or academic success, to breaking an unwanted habit such as smoking, weight loss, and many other things.  There just seems to be something that prevents them from moving forward.  They are stuck.

Hypnosis can help you “Break Through the Barriers” that have been standing in the way of your progress.  In just a few sessions of coaching and hypnosis you can discover and release the blocks interfering with you achieving your goal.  Once you release these blocks you are free, have clarity, and ready to move forward.  Together we map out a plan and motivated to take action for success.

Isn’t it time you moved forward?

Happy 2017, may you have a wonderful, healthy, and successful year.                                                                                                                                  Sharon

Why Become a Hypnotist?

Just the other day someone asked me who do I train to become hypnotists?  That made me think.  Over the years I have had many people ask me why would I want to be a hypnotist and what type of people do I train to become a hypnotist.  I find these questions interesting because it shows me the mystery and misconceptions that are still out there about what hypnosis is and does.

Why does one become a hypnotist?  Usually the three main reasons a person becomes a hypnotist is to help people, for self-enrichment, and because they enjoy performing as in hypnosis stage shows.  I believe in each case they are helping people.  From the therapeutic aspect, helping people stop smoking, lose weight, release stress, release fears and more is obvious help.  You may wonder how a hypnosis stage show helps people.  It makes them laugh.  It makes them happy, and that helps.  Laughing is therapeutic and good for the soul. Some people want to learn hypnosis to improve themselves.

What type of people want to become hypnotists?  Many people want to become a hypnotist.  My classes have consisted of a wide variety of students, there for different reasons.  Some examples of the variety of people that I trained were professionals including Real Estate Agents, Engineers, Accountants, Bakers, Coaches, Counselors, Dietitians, Teachers, Nurses, Cosmetologists.  There have been seekers on their path of spirituality, people who wanted to know how for self-enrichment and personal reasons, and even other hypnotists that want the additional training, credibility and the prestige of being trained and certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH).  It is not the stereotype “weird” person that is a hypnotist, although it can be.  Professional people, everyday people, housewives, spiritual people, and more become hypnotists.

My training class is a hands on course that consists of lecture, demonstration, fun and practice, practice, practice. There will be some self-study.  Manuals and other materials are included.  Upon completion of National Guild of Hypnotists certification a one year FREE membership in the National Guild of Hypnotists is also included (a $135 value) which includes subscriptions to Hypno-Gram and Journal of Hypnotism.

  • What sets this training apart from others is that in addition to The Guild’s Training, you will learn additional techniques including some NLP that can be implemented right away to enhance rapport, your accessing skills, and the success of the client. There are innovative techniques, scripts, CD’s, and many extras.

Participate in Your Progress

Hypnosis, just like Coaching is usually about progress and change.  You may have heard that change is a process.  Barring accidents or other life changing events, where something changes instantly,  most change is a process.  It may occur quickly or more gradually, but it is a process.

Coaching and Hypnosis are tools for change and change is a process.  Usually when someone sees a hypnotist or a Coach it is because they want to make changes.  I always tell my clients “Hypnosis and/or Coaching is a process and it works better for you if you participate.”  It works better if the client listens to the audio recording and if the client attends the number of sessions recommended.  It works better if the client does the agreed upon tasks between sessions.

As far as hypnosis, it does not mean that hypnosis won’t work in one session, it very well may, depending on why the client gets hypnosis, but why not increase the odds of getting the change that you desire and attend the number of sessions recommended? The hardest part of being a hypnotist is convincing the client that hypnosis is a process.  The media, Hollywood and many novelists have portrayed hypnosis as an evil tool or magic power.  They let you believe that it takes away a persons control.  Even worse they let the audience believe that it only has to happen once, like snapping fingers and everything changes. This is simply not true.

Hypnosis is a process.  It is tool for training your mind.  To get the most out of hypnosis one should participate.  For most hypnosis to work better more than one session is needed because the mind learns from repetition, it recognized habit and familiarity.  This is why a recording is often given at the end of the session for reinforcement.

Why not participate and allow hypnosis help you make changes in your life?

How Stress Affects Your Health

For a  long time we’ve know that stress can affect our health.  We did not know how or why stress affected our health.  Recent studies have given us a clearer understanding of this.

Studies, such as the one conducted by Carnegie Mellon University have show that chronic stress is one of the causes of inflammation.  Stress can interfere with the body’s anti-inflammatory response.  Our bodies release the hormone cortisol to fight inflammation.  When chronic stress occurs this is process is interrupted. Immune cells become less sensitive and do not respond as they should and inflammation occurs.  We know that inflammation causes or influences diseases such as heart disease, arthritis, and several others.

Hypnosis can help reduce stress.  Stress is cumulative. Using hypnosis regularly can help keep stress levels lower. By keeping stress levels lower, you can reduce inflammation.  This can influence disease because when you have less stress, you have less inflammation.  You may have more control on your health than previously thought.  When you release stress it is easier to deal with new and/or recurring stressors in a calm manner. Did you know that hypnosis can also root-out emotional issues that may lead to stress?  Emotions can lead to stress.  It’s true, you can actually be your own biggest stressor.  Emotions and stress affects our immune system.  That is why they tell cancer patients to avoid stress and reduce it if possible.  Regardless of whether stress is caused internally or externally it can have an effect on the actions we take.  It can contribute to anger, worry, unhealthy habits such as smoking, over eating and drug and alcohol abuse.  Using hypnosis we can find the cause emotionally and desensitize it, which releases the stress.  You can change how you perceive events and you can change how you react to them.  This releases the amount of stress you have.  Many of my clients come in to work on stress release without underlying emotional issues. Using hypnosis regularly can help keep stress levels lower. By keeping stress levels lower, you can reduce inflammation.  This can influence disease because when you have less stress, you have less inflammation.  You may have more control on your health than previously thought.

Reiki for Balance and Wellness

Energy healing is based on the concept that every living thing is made of energy.  Humans are made of energy.  You have physical, etheric and subtle energy bodies.  The subtle and etheric energy is often referred to as the human energy field or aura.  Within the energy field are energy center points called chakras.  When one or more of these chakras are out of balance or blocked or physical illness can occur.  Stress can also occur when there is an imbalance or blockage.  Additionally stress can cause a blockage or imbalance.  It is well know that stress can lead to illness.

Reiki energy is one of these energy healing modalities.  It is based on the works of or re-discovery of this healing method by Dr. Usui.  Reiki practitioners are attuned to this energy so that they can transfer it to you.  Reiki can be hands on, hands just above the body, or sent from a distance.  If you have been attuned to Reiki you can treat others and you can also give self-treatments.  Reiki can even be used on pets.  It can be used to energize water, food, plants and more. Reiki can also be integrated with other healing modalities. Studies are now being done about the benefits of Reiki.  It is now being used in addition to traditional healing methods in many hospitals and in hospice settings.

Reiki is one method of promoting balance and removing blockages from the energy field.  Reiki helps reduce stress.  When stress is reduced and energy flows more freely you are more likely to experience wellness, balance and harmony.

At Create Change Hypnosis we offer Reiki sessions and Reiki Level I, Level II, Reiki Master Practitioner-Advanced Reiki Techniques (Reiki Level III), and Reiki Master/Teacher certification classes.

After helping people stop smoking for many years, I understand the nature of the smoking habit/addiction and issues you may face when you take this step.  After many years of helping people become ex-smokers/non-smokers, I have designed two hypnosis stop smoking programs that empowers you to quit smoking quite easily. Most clients stop smoking in one session.  The other program is a three session program for those that prefer to wean off cigarette smoking. Using hypnosis to help you stop smoking is as easy as stopping smoking can be.

My clients enjoy better than a 90% success rate!   Imagine yourself finally free from smoking cigarettes once and for all.  Imagine what it is like to discover how good you feel now that you do not feel like an outcast, worrying about when and where you can smoke. Imagine the transformation of feeling better, breathing easier, and looking and smelling better. Being a non-smoker makes you feel better and better in every way.

Isn’t the time to stop now?

My hypnosis smoking cessation program is personalized for each client.  During the initial consultation or session I ask you questions to evaluate your habit and needs so that the session is structured to meet your needs.  Then together we determine some of the suggestions to be put into the hypnosis session.  I then structure your hypnosis program to meet your specific needs.  I also combine hypnosis with NLP, EFT, Imagery and other powerful hypnotic techniques to insure your success.

The majority of the smokers I have helped stopped smoking after a single two hour session.  This includes and audio for reinforcement.

For a very few smokers, a longer program to stop smoking is applied.  This includes an initial 90 minute hypnosis session.  An audio is given for reinforcement.  A week later we do a one-hour hypnosis session, and then the following week another one hour session. You enjoy the results of a more gradual transformation into being a non-smoker.  This program is usually used for smokers that want to wean off cigarettes over the three weeks.

As mentioned, I customize the hypnosis sessions to fit your situation and needs.  I also provide you with very powerful tools to reinforce what we do in the session(s.)

MY GUARANTEE:

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AS I ASK YOU TO, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL QUIT. Live Your Dreams by Creating a Road-map to Your Success

To live your dream you need to set your goals.

“Unless you have a definite, precise, clear set of goals, you are not going to realize the maximum potential that lies within you.” -Zig Ziglar

If you are not sure of what you want or do not have a clearly defined goal how can you get what you want?  When you have a dream, how are you going to realize it? When you make positive change in your life it usually involves goal setting.  Regardless of what you want, having a clear and decisive goal helps it become a reality.  It is much more likely to manifest.  Otherwise you are just counting on chance.

To set goals you should ask yourself the following questions.  Are my goals realistic? Are they attainable?  When do you expect to complete them?  Are they stated simply and clearly? What is the reward?

My work, coaching, HypnoCoaching,™ and hypnosis, almost always involves setting goals.  I use a step by step procedure developed by Dr. Richard Harte.  I see to it that my clients to make sure they have goals that can be attained, that they have a clear vision of their goals, a plan of action so that they can reach their goals, know what the reward is, and have a timeline of when the goal will be reached.

This plan of action works.  It can be used on a personal level for self-improvement.  You can use this goal setting plan in your work/career.  You can use it to improve your surroundings and home life.  You could even use it to improve your health and well-being by getting rid of unwanted habits such as smoking or over-eating.  You could use it to create new habits such as exercising.  Using a plan like this can help you achieve goals and organize your life.

I remember years ago in my first management class we learned the “six P’s of success,”  ”Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance.”  These words have always stayed in my head.  You must set goalstake action, and then you see results.

If goals are not clearly defined and planned out, they are less likely to be achieved.  If you don’t have a clear defined goal, what you have is a simply a wish.  Yes, sometimes you might get your wish, but why count on chance when you can make your dreams come true.  Once you set your goals you can act on them, step by step to get the results you desire.

It’s Back to School Time!

It’s that time again.  We are frantically shopping for new clothes and school supplies for the kids.  Perhaps we are shopping for the perfect things for their dorm rooms or apartments.  We wonder if they will have nice roommates. Will they like it there?  Will they be happy?  Another concern is will they keep up with their studies without us being there to supervise them.

Did you know that hypnosis can help improve study habits?  In fact it may even make studying a habit.  That’s right, hypnosis can help train the mind so that the student is motivated to study.  Another thing it can do is help during testing.  Sometimes the student knows the information and yet when they take the test, the freeze up or panic.  They don’t do well on tests and it lowers their overall GPA.  Using hypnosis they become calm during the test.  They access the information that they studied easier, improving their scores.  Hypnosis makes it easier for them to achieve their goals.

Hypnosis can also help them with their confidence and self-esteem.  This can really help them when they are in a new situation and meeting new people. When they are confident it improves their overall  school experience.

Hypnosis is a safe and natural tool that can be used to improve confidence and academic performance.  It can also be used to improve sports performance.  If you have questions about how hypnosis can help you or your child don’t hesitate, call 609-247-5418 or email  cchypnosis@comcast.net now.
